Synopsis:
Alexander Walker was a survivor—but survival came at a cost. A Navy SEAL veteran, he had already endured war, the loss of his legs, and severe injuries that left him dependent on technology to function. Then came the cancer. Stage 4 leukemia nearly took everything from him, and though he fought through grueling treatments and survived, the man who walked away was a shell of who he used to be.
Weak, fatigued, and trapped in a body that no longer felt like his own, he turned to the one thing that still gave him a sense of control: gaming. His PC became his sanctuary, and among all the worlds he explored, Skyrim remained one of his favorites—an open world where he could be strong, free, and unburdened by his failing body.
Then, he was given a choice.
Reborn into the world of Tamriel as Rashan Sulharen, a Redguard noble, he embraces his second life not as a hero on a destined path, but as a man determined to live again. The world is real, not a game, and though he carries a system -tools to carve his own path.
But fate is never so simple. Rashan is Dragonborn, a power the world may accept or reject, but before he can even think about his legacy, he must first survive. With the Great War on the horizon and darker conflicts brewing in its wake, he will have to fight—not for glory, not for destiny, but for the right to live on his own terms.
Welcome to Skyrim Series: Redguard Dovahkiin!
This story begins in Hammerfell, exploring Rashan Sulharen’s life before he arrives in Skyrim. My goal is to craft a realistic and immersive version of Tamriel, adding my own twists to how Skyrim’s world would function if treated as a true historical-fantasy setting rather than a game.
Rashan does have a system, but it is not overpowered. It plays a role in his journey, but this is a slice-of-life experience, where growth comes through effort, learning, and survival rather than game-like shortcuts.
I chose to write a Skyrim fanfiction because Naruto fanfics are oversaturated, and I haven’t seen a good Skyrim fanfic in a long time. I wanted to create something fresh, deep, and engaging while staying true to the spirit of The Elder Scrolls—but with a more grounded, realistic approach.
