Kiss or Die

Xanaclarke
Yu Xi, a superstar of the 24th century and international celebrity who spans movies, TV shows, and music, had lost her life in an accident and suddenly found herself waking up in another body and was bound to a system called the Star Maker System! If it was just a simple transmigration, then why would she actually go back to the 21st century? That was hundreds of years ago? It was okay to live in such an ancient time, but what was going on with the useless body that she had possessed? Yu Xi was now just a good-for-nothing trainee who had no status or connection because the previous owner of the body had already offended everyone! Moreover, why does she need to kiss others to stay alive? In the end, Yu Xi had no choice but to embark on an arduous path of forcibly kissing men, fighting against all who blocked her path, and reaching the top of the entertainment industry again in another era. However, all that Yu Xi had done was only because she wanted to extend her life for survival! So what was going on with these men in front of her who wanted to cling to her? + - + - + - + - + - + Also known as: “Kiss is life”, “The system has no moral principles”, “I want to reach the top”, "The system is adding more and more targets to kiss", "There are too many men to kiss". + - + - + - + - + - + Please help support me at: ko-fi.com/xanaclarke

A Time of Tigers - From Peasant to Emperor

There is a sense for greatness. Some people carry it around like a bad smell. They make us stop on the street, and look their way, whether we wish to or not. Their appearance might be ordinary, but there’s something about them, something beyond the norm. Something that makes you almost wish to bend the knee to them. Our kings have likely had that something, those that came from nothing but ashes and ruin, in times of trouble and famine, where the hearts of the masses are restless, and they need a cause to bind to. What makes them choose one man over another? It is my contention that there is a true gravity to such individuals. That progress, or competence, or greatness itself carries a weight. That a man might grow greater in the dark, and whether he wishes it or not, by the sheer gravity of his existence, tigers will make their way towards his door, catching his scent in the wind. The tigers hide themselves in the forests, in villages unknown, amongst the peasantry, but sooner or later, it does seem, that they are always cast into the light. It requires an immense effort of will to keep them hidden. A man of such a gravity will see themselves risen, without will, to ranks beyond that of the norm – in times of peace, they might rise high indeed. But in times of chaos? When the world is in upheaval, when every piece in up in the air? Then a tiger from the most lowly of starts, with a competency – a density – beyond belief, as if they were a different creature entirely – they might go all the way. They might be the creature that – though a peasant themselves – the peasantry themselves kneel to. They might go further, and make the soldiery kneel, and then even the nobles after them. And a special class, beyond all others, might go even further still, and snatch a crown the head of a king, on a flurry of brilliant victories, on a story so overwhelming it almost might have seemed preordained. It is those men that we ought to fear, and it those men that we will eternally be at the mercy of. It is those men that we do the honour of addressing as our kings, and our emperors.

The Good Girls

In the grim, war-torn future of humanity, a young girl named Lili witnesses the brutal fall of her world. When the Plague Demons of Lord Pesti´s descend upon her planet, the skies darken with a toxic green cloud, and soon, the infected rise—transformed into zombies with grotesque smiles and weeping eyes. As her parents become monstrous husks, Lili’s strength and resilience shine through, as she alone survives the chaos, guided by a mysterious, warm light that resides within her. As the last bastion of humanity fights back, Lili is taken under the protection of a battle-hardened Sergeant and his squad of Imperial Guard soldiers. Together, they find refuge deep within the abandoned metro tunnels, surviving for years as the world above is consumed by the infection. But nothing can last forever. When the time comes to fight their way back to the surface, only Lili and the Sergeant remain. In a final act of bravery, the Sergeant sacrifices himself, giving Lili a grenade and a chance to survive—though she, too, is left at the brink of death. But Lili is not gone. Her light, a beacon of life, keeps her soul tethered to the void, where she encounters the Sergeant’s soul, adrift in the darkness of space. In an impossible twist of fate, their bond is so strong that they are pulled through time and space, crashing into the year 1870—smack in the middle of the Franco-Prussian War. But the journey is not without its consequences. The Sergeant’s soul, now intertwined with Lili’s, takes on a new form as Lilis identical twin. And now they are two blonde-haired, blue-eyed, six-year-old girls. Together they must now navigate this strange new world—an ancient conflict, a new identity, and the remnants of their previous lives all converging as they fight to survive once more. Lili’s light may have saved her once, but in this new time, will it be enough to alter the course of history? Will they fight for a better humanity or accidentally destroy it? And in the process, will they ever uncover the true nature of their bond—and the destiny that awaits them? Will they be good girls or not so much so?
